ResCore Firefighter Health App
A mobile app built around ResCore's firefighter impact study — keeping first responders engaged in their health, tracking how their bodies respond to the job, and giving them a place to reach out when things get heavy.

What We'd Build
App Features
Everything below is included in scope. BrandRap builds and hosts the app — adoption, engagement, and what ResCore does with the data is on ResCore's side.
The Firefighter Impact Study
The core of the app. Structured check-ins and data collection built specifically to support ResCore's longitudinal study of firefighter health, stress, and recovery.
- Did you respond to an alarm this week?
- Did you work a difficult patient? A traumatic scene?
- How is the inflammation? The knee? The shoulder?
- Consistent with your methylated vitamins?
- Sleep quality and mental state over time
- All data tied to the firefighter's profile for ResCore to study patterns
Daily Check-Ins
A simple, low-friction way to keep firefighters and patients engaged — daily or every few days, on their schedule.
- How are you feeling today? Pain, inflammation, stress level
- Did you hydrate? Take your vitamins?
- Any PTSD symptoms or mental health signals this week?
- Recovery tracking after treatment
- Admin can configure what questions get asked and how often
On-Scene Biometric Tracking
When a firefighter responds to a cardiac arrest at 2am, their body goes through hell. The app pulls that data from their wearable — heart rate, body temp, recovery window — so ResCore can see what the job actually does.
- Connects to fitness watches and health rings via Apple Health and Google Health
- Heart rate, resting heart rate, body temperature, sleep
- Tracks spikes and recovery windows
- Exact metrics depend on the device the firefighter is already wearing
Duty Event Context (GPS)
With the firefighter's permission, the app can flag when they're likely on a call — so ResCore can see how their biometrics responded to that specific event.
- Opt-in only — the firefighter controls this completely
- Correlate alarm responses with heart rate spikes or stress signals
- Not surveillance — purely for understanding duty-related health impact
- Can be turned off at any time
The Red Button
A big, always-visible button for the moments when a firefighter or patient needs help right now — PTSD, depression, a dark night. Gets them to a real resource, fast.
- One tap to 911 if it's an emergency
- One tap to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
- One tap to the Veterans Crisis Line
- Can be configured to alert a ResCore-designated contact if staffed
- Pre-written grounding messages for acute distress moments
- Clear about what ResCore can and can't provide 24/7
ResCore Education Hub
The regenerative health educational platform Steve is building — inside the app. Articles, videos, PDFs, and links on everything ResCore stands for.
- Regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy
- Methylated vitamins and why they matter for first responders
- PTSD, oxidative stress, and functional recovery
- Partner companies (ITC Laboratories, BioLux, etc.) with dedicated pages
- ResCore manages all content — no code deploys needed to update it
Reminders & Notifications
The app keeps the firefighter in the routine without being annoying about it.
- Vitamin and supplement reminders
- Hydration check-ins
- Survey and check-in nudges
- Appointment and treatment program reminders
- ResCore controls the timing and frequency
Admin Dashboard (ResCore Team)
Everything the ResCore team needs to see what's going on, manage users, and run the impact study.
- View and export firefighter and patient check-in data
- Manage the education content library
- Configure survey questions and notification schedules
- User management and support alert monitoring

11 Items
- 1
BrandRap builds the app and keeps it running. What ResCore does with it — how many firefighters use it, whether the impact study gets traction, how patients engage — is entirely ResCore's responsibility. BrandRap makes no guarantees about adoption, user growth, or business outcomes.
- 2
This is a health engagement and tracking app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical care.
- 3
The Red Button connects users to public crisis resources (911, 988). It does not include a staffed ResCore response line unless ResCore separately arranges that.
- 4
Wearable integrations work with what the firefighter is already wearing. Exact data depends on their device, OS version, and what they give permission to share.
- 5
Full HIPAA compliance requires legal review, signed agreements with hosting vendors, and operational steps on ResCore's side — not just how the app is built.
- 6
Apple App Store and Google Play developer fees are separate.
- 7
Third-party service fees are separate.
- 8
GoHighLevel HIPAA setup, if needed, is a separate engagement.
- 9
GPS is opt-in context tracking — not real-time monitoring or dispatch.
- 10
Content beyond the initial agreed scope is billed separately.
- 11
App Store review times are set by Apple and Google, not BrandRap.
Any scope not described in this document or the Deliverables list requires a written change order.
